my work

My woodcarving stems from my overall interest in all animals and wildlife.  I have carved other items, but always return to animals.

I work in hardwood only, almost any variety, but Lime is the best to work with.

I like to make my carvings as true to life as possible, with natural backgrounds. I am not keen on stylised forms. I also like to draw and photograph wildlife, plants and animals.
