About me

I am not a native Cornishman, but have lived here for more than thirty years.

After a career in the Royal Navy and Industry as a Chartered Electrical Engineer I am now retired and spend as much time as possible carving wood.

I have worked with wood all my life, as a hobby, and took up woodcarving more than twenty years ago. My preference is for native woods, particularly those with some character in the grain or colouring.

I am a member of theBritish Woodcarving Association which meets in Plymouth on Tuesdays during term time.
